Discovery Inn - Friday Harbor

Charming environment with beautifully maintained grounds. The lush greenery and cute seating arrangements make it ideal for relaxation. The room was comfortable, with a plush bed that provided an excellent night's sleep. A nice touch was the organic fruits offered. A minor plumbing issue arose , but the staff was responsive and attentive, resolving it promptly.

The location was wonderful and stunning, not too far from English Camp. The staff members were super-friendly and suggested local places. The hotel room was good sized and well-stocked with all the amenities and very comfortable beds, for instance.

The hotel location was perfect and excellent to everything-downtown. All of the staff members were excellent and amicable.

Awesome staff & great vibes!

We had a blast! The staff were super friendly and gave us tips about local sights. Our room was super clean and comfy. There's a nice picnic area to hang out. The only hassle was the noise from the downstairs room. You could hear every little thing. It kinda wrecked the chill vibe at times, but it was still a great stay!

Our family loved the inviting atmosphere with lots of board games to entertain the kids . It was fantastic to have nearby options for whale watching and kayaking. Plus, the place was really dog-friendly, easy for us and our large breed dog.

My kids wished there were more playgrounds in the vicinity for them to enjoy.

I loved that it was just a short walk to Sunken Park and only about 1 km from the charming downtown area. Plus, the staff were friendly and cute. As a solo traveler, I appreciated the clean and well-maintained Queen Room.

would recommend for a brief pit stop

Cheerful room, clean amenities, with a generously stocked coffee bar, made each morning enjoyable and a short drive allowed easy access to the nearby town for exploring.

Discovery inn was fantastic! Miriam at the front desk was so attentive, immediately turning on the heat for us upon arrival. Our queen room was spacious, cheerful, and super clean. The location is a quick five-minute drive to downtown, and we enjoyed the beautiful park-like setting with lovely lawns. I really appreciated the well-stocked coffee bar and the thoughtful service.

I was enchanted by the park-like outdoor area, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying a BBQ with friends. The thoughtful touches, like the well-stocked coffee bar and the cute basket of hot chocolate waiting for us. Plus, the staff really tailored their advice, sharing the best local spots that elevated our whole experience!

Beautiful grounds and lovely staff, but beds were a bit hard for comfort.

This was a top selection for a weekend outing in Friday Harbor with very nice value for money. The owner was super nice and gave awesome recommendations on where to eat and explore. If you're looking for some peace and quiet, pick a room away from the street.

Miriam at the front desk provided really good service, running upstairs to turn on the heat for us immediately. The bright decor and cheerful atmosphere in our spacious room. The generously stocked coffee bar offered a good start to our day, keeping me energized for exploring. I loved the inviting park-like grounds that created a nothing noisy .

The pool and hot spa were not operational , disappointing.

The queen room was bright and cozy with air conditioning, a microwave, and tv. We enjoyed the well-stocked coffee bar and the hot tub. It was super easy to get into town in about 15-20 minutes walking. The staff gave great local tips and even offered free chocolates at check-in!

I loved the charming decor and inviting park-like grounds. The beautiful flowers and seating areas created a serene atmosphere. Accessibility was good.

A shuttle service would be helpful for seniors.
